STRING DRAWINGS:

These drawings start as grids made of acrylic painted string. Once the grid is established, I work against the grid by cutting at spots, adding additional string, extending the size, etc.  

 

The Inner Rivers Run Deep Series are collages on painted canvases using fragments of painted string grids, lengths of string, and fragments of mesh and jute fabric.
